Node stuck at 'BIOS image updated, resetting to load defaults' during ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • Node gets stuck during the update with message and does not continue
 
BIOS image updated, resetting to load defaults
 
  • ONTAP update status is paused
 
SP event logs show node experienced a L2 watchdog reset
