Node reboots with BATTERY remain capacity critical low alert

Issue

The following battery alerts are reported in the event logs. Example:

[Node-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.capLow:alert]: The NVMEM battery capacity is low (1 cycles).

[Node-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.fccLowCrit:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery full-charge capacity is critically low (15 ). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.

[Node-01: env_mgr: callhome.battery.warning:alert]: Call home for BATTERY (remain capacity critical low) WARNING.

[Node-01: env_mgr: callhome.battery.failure:EMERGENCY]: Call home for BATTERY (full capacity critical low) CRITICAL.

[Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery:EMERGENCY]: NVRAM battery is dangerously low.

[Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery.notice:notice]: If the NVRAM battery is dangerously low, the system shuts down automatically every 24 hours to encourage you to replace it. If you reboot the system it will run for another 24 hours before shutting down.

[Node-01: statd: callhome.battery.low:alert]: Call home for BATTERY_LOW.

[Node-01: statd: monitor.shutdown.nvramLowBattery.pending:alert]: NVRAM battery is dangerously low. Halting system in 24 hours. Replace the battery immediately!

If no actions are taken, the node reboots every 24 hours, and the following events are seen. Example:

[Node-01: env_mgr: monitor.shutdown.emergency:EMERGENCY]: Emergency shutdown: Environmental Reason Shutdown (BATTERY (full capacity critical low) for 20 mins)

[Node-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.capNormal:notice]: The NVMEM battery capacity is normal. [Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery:EMERGENCY]: NVRAM battery is dangerously low. [Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery.notice:notice]: If the NVRAM battery is dangerously low, the system shuts down automatically every 24 hours to encourage you to replace it. If you reboot the system it will run for another 24 hours before shutting down. [Node-01: statd: callhome.battery.low:alert]: Call home for BATTERY_LOW.

During ONTAP boot following error may reported. Example:

WARNING: The battery is experiencing a critical failure: - Battery full charge capacity is too low Without a working battery, the system cannot retain data during a power outage, which can result in data loss. Power down the system and verify that the battery is properly installed. To ignore this failure and boot the system in a mode where data loss might occur, press 'c' followed by 'Enter'

The sensors in the SP-LATEST-IPMI section of the AutoSupport report the following. Example:
