Node reboots due to "Power Fail" error

  • FAS2720 / FAS2750
  • AFF-A220

Issue

  • Node console or SP/BMC> system log
     output, shows that node reboots due to "Power Fail" error.

  • Node SP/BMC events all reporting:

Record 1234: Mon Jan  1 00:01:01 2024 [SP.emergency]: System input power lost
Record 2345: Mon Jan  1 00:10:10 2024 [SP.emergency]: System input power lost

  • No other power alerts are reported by any Power Supply Unit (PSU), Power Distribution Unit (PDU) or any other Data Center electrical element (shelves, switches, etc.)
