Node not powering ON, Host Power is Off

Issue

  • Node does not power up
  • Fails when tried powering ON through BMC
BMC> system power on
..
BMC> system power status
Host power is off
  • Fails when try to power on through SP

SP > system console
Type Ctrl-D to exit.

Running Backup Firmware
SP > system power status
Host Power is off
Running Backup Firmware
SP > system power on
Running Backup Firmware
SP > system power status
Host Power is off
Running Backup Firmware

  • Issue persists post reseating the node , all DIMMs and PCI cards
