Issue

  • Node fails to boot with the below error:

Error : ERROR: [D9] Boot option loading failed

e.g.

?[2J?[1;1H
    ERROR: [D9] Boot option loading failed
    ?[2J?[1;1HWait BMC self-test result.
    BMC self-test: OK.
    UPI initialization.
    CPU initialization.
    Running full memory initialization

 

  • "show devices" from LOADER doesn't show the boot device:

LOADER-B> show devices

boot_e u0b.0 alias boot device

  • "boot_recovery" fails with the below error:

Terminated
varfs_backup_restore: The boot device is not mounted! Skipping /var backup.
Uptime: 2m30s
