Network port down in ifgroup after network switch replacement

Issue

  • After replacing the network switch, the one of the network port does not come up.
  • The network port ifgrp show command shows the e3a port as down.

  • The port status in the EMS log is shown as down after a netif.uncorEccError:EMERGENCY error occurs.

  • Swapping the network cable and changing the connected port on the other end indicates that the issue persists on a specific port.
