Issue

  • Around the time of an upgrade from ONTAP 9.8P8 to Version 9.8P12 MPIO lost connection to LUN  after takeover
  • After checking iSCSI configuration each node has one iSCSI Data LIF
event log show
vifmgr: vifmgr.reach.noreach:notice]: Network port x0x-1234 on node ABC_01 cannot reach its expected broadcast domain Default: XYZ_name. No other broadcast domains appear to be reachable from this port.
