Answer
- No
- It is recommended to use the Performance Capacity graph for aggregates in Active IQ Unified Manager
- It is best practice to leave headroom for spikes or disk failures
- These guidelines are not guaranteed and should not be used as a final decision, any concerns should be reviewed with the account team and not Support
- As mentioned on Wikpedia, the IOP threshold may be less for random workloads than the below guidance
- IOPS historically have referred to as transfers, typically 4k random transfers
- These numbers may be more or less than your system is capable of for your workload, requiring the account team discussion
- The account team has a tool that can calculate the maximum IOPS for each system, but NetApp does not publish general guidelines
General guidelines are as follows |

Note: No limits are given for SSDs as they perform so well that generally CPU is 100% before disk latency is a factor, among other factors
