Issue

  • ONTAP upgrade is paused.
  • Output of storage failover show indicates node is Waiting for cluster applications to come online on the local node
  • Cluster port fails to initialize during boot:

initialization of network interface e0a failed due to unexpected software error ix:18.
initialization of network interface e0a failed due to unexpected software error ixgbe:5.
initialization of network interface e0a failed due to unexpected software error ix:eeprom_read:eec=75480832:-33.

  • Cluster port e0a or e0b missing from sysconfig -a output:
