Increased Fan Noise from Chassis with Non-Spinning Power Supply Fans

Issue

Noticed an increase in fan noise, characterized by a louder and higher pitch than usual, coming from the chassis and all four power supply fans are not spinning. 

  • Increased Fan Noise: The noise is louder and has a higher pitch than usual, indicating the chassis fans are working harder
  • Non-Spinning Power Supply Fans: All four power supply fans are not spinning
  • No Relevant Event Log Entries: The event log does not report any errors or issues 
    • Check command
      • ::> system node run -node * -command storage show fault
      • ::> system controller environment show
