Description

  • Some NetApp controller families utilize an internal Ethernet switch that may need to be manually updated after the Service Processor (SP) / Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) firmware has been updated.
  • The switch firmware is not automatically updated if the SP/BMC firmware is updated.
    • Verify the switch firmware version after any ONTAP upgrade, and if required manually update the switch firmware according to the instructions for that specific model and SP/BMC version
