Description

This article describes setup and configuration best practices for the management and monitoring of Cisco Nexus 50x0 switches deployed as NetApp cluster network switches. The cluster network provides connectivity between multiple Data ONTAP 8 Cluster-Mode nodes that have been configured to operate in a cluster. Depending on the exact cluster size, the purchased switches may be Nexus 5010 or Nexus 5020 models. Unless specifically called out by model, information pertains to all Nexus 50x0 variants.
