Description
- Platforms that recommend 100GbE network ports for both Cluster and HA connections can support 10GbE or 25GbE cluster connections to legacy cluster switches.
- Cluster ports can be configured on a 10/25GbE network card.
- HA ports remain on the 40/100GbE network card.
- After HA port sharing is disabled, those 40/100GbE HA ports stay dedicated to the HA interconnect.
- They cannot be moved to the Default IPspace or used as data/host ports.
- Use a separate 10/25GbE (or other data) NIC for cluster and host connectivity.
- For the HA port names on each platform, see What AFF, ASA and FAS platforms use shared Cluster and HA Ethernet ports.
- Customers are recommended to update to 100GbE cluster speeds when legacy 10/25GbE switches are no longer required.
