Issue

Sometimes a user does not correctly set up their cabling to NetApp's best practices. This can cause a stack multipath error condition, as a result of a stack of disk shelves attached to the same ASIC. NetApp recommends using multiple ASICs to assure the maximum level of redundancy.

The following error message is reported, if not cabled appropriately:

callhome.hm.sas.alert.major:CRITICAL]: Call home for SAS Connectivity Monitor: DualPathToDiskShelf_Alert[50:05:0c:c1:02:02:59:5d].

There is no impact to the data access.
