Issue

  • Both nodes are repeatedly reporting ses.status.ModuleError:alert in the EMS-LOG-FILE.GZ, with Node1 reporting Module B and Node2 reporting Module A.

Node1: dsa_worker3: ses.status.ModuleError:alert]: NS224NSM16E (S/N XXXXXXXXXXXX) shelf 0 on channel 0s PCI switch error for PCI Switch 2: status not available; status not available. This element is on the rear of the shelf at the bottom, on shelf module (B).

Node2: dsa_worker0: ses.status.ModuleError:alert]: NS224NSM16E (S/N XXXXXXXXXXXX) shelf 0 on channel 0s PCI switch error for PCI Switch 1: status not available; status not available. This element is on the rear of the shelf at the top, on shelf module (A).

  • In the STORAGE-SHELF-PORT.XML, the module reported by each node shows a status of Unknown, while the other module appears with a normal status.
