Issue

  • Drive not visible on one node of the HA-pair. Example messages:
Mon Nov 01 13:39:34 +0400 [NODE-01: kernel: nvme.link.error:error]: PCIe link initialization error for NVMe SSD in slot 31.
Mon Nov 01 13:40:34 +0400 [NODE-01: config_thread: raid.config.filesystem.disk.missing:info]: File system Disk 0n.31 Shelf 0 Bay 31 [<drive information>] is missing.
  • The node that is missing the drive will report it cannot takeover the partner:
cluster::>storage failover show NODE-01 NODE-02

false Connected to NODE-02, Takeover is not possible: Local node missing partner disk
or Takeover cannot be completed.Local node missing partner disks
