Data ports offline after ONTAP upgrade to 9.13.1

  • X91440A NIC port in 4x10G breakout mode
  • ONTAP 9
  • Cisco Switch (Data)

Issue

  • Workaround as per SU533 was applied to prevent system from experiencing Bug ID 1512950 before performing ONTAP upgrade
  • After ONTAP Upgrade to version 9.13.1P7, data ports for both nodes in HA Pair remained offline
  • The offline ports are detected correctly by the nodes, as per outputs:
Ports e4e on Node CLUSTER-01 down and e8e on Node CLUSTER-02 down
