DIMM error MEMORY WARNING: Major Code 0x30 occurs during boot

Issue

  • When booting, the following MEMORY WARNING messages occur:
BIOS Version: 16.10
PEI start.
CPU PEI initialization.
Wait BMC self-test result.
BMC self-test: OK.
UPI initialization.
CPU initialization.
Running full memory initialization.
MEMORY WARNING: Major Code 0x30 Minor Code 0x2d DIMM:A0
MEMORY WARNING: Major Code 0x30 Minor Code 0x1c DIMM:A0
SPI FLASH: Primary BIOS
  • No other DIMM errors are detected in the memory dimm show output or SYSTEM-HEALTH-ALERT-PERSISTENT.XML.
