Issue

During ONTAP upgrades or manual/automated disk shelf firmware updates, the following message may be seen in the event log and serial console:
 
Thu Aug 07 16:08:00 +0000 [node1: monitor: monitor.globalStatus.critical:EMERGENCY]: Controller failover of node2 is not possible: downloading shelf firmware.
