Cluster switch monitoring issue

Issue

  • The following system health alerts are being reported: SwitchIslIfDownWarn_Alert, SwitchUnreachable_Alert, and UnsupportedSwitch_Alert

        Suppress: false
        Acknowledge: false
        Probable Cause: The ethernet switch's IP address is not reachable from
                     the local node.
        Possible Effect: Monitoring of the switch and log collection will not
                     function.
        Corrective Actions: Ensure that the IP address is reachable or specify the
                     correct reachable IP address.

  • The alerts are being reported for an old switch configuration that is neither in use nor visible in the cluster.
