Issue

  • The following errors are reported in event logs:

[Node-02: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:debug]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: Fan1 (0 RPM)
[Node-02: env_mgr: callhome.c.fan.fru.fault:debug]: Call home for CHASSIS FAN FRU FAILED: Fan1

Or

[Node-04: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:debug]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: Sysfan4_F2_Speed (failed)
[Node-04: env_mgr: callhome.c.fan.fru.fault:debug]: Call home for CHASSIS FAN FRU FAILED: Sysfan4_F2_Speed

  • The sensor status for one or both fans is "BAD" in the SP sensors section:

Fan2 State     discrete     normal            normal     GOOD
Fan1 State     discrete     fault             normal     BAD

And
