Issue

  • Node failed to boot reporting the following error:

Nov 29 06:51:03 [Node:callhome.battery.failure:EMERGENCY]: Call home for BATTERY (discharge FET off) CRITICAL.
Nov 29 06:51:48 [Node:callhome.chassis.overtemp:EMERGENCY]: Call home for CHASSIS OVER TEMPERATURE SHUTDOWN
Nov 29 07:38:34 [Node:nv.flash.unable.to.monitor:ALERT]: Unable to monitor NVRAM device "NVRAM12".
Nov 29 07:50:12 [Node:nvram.battery.dischargeFET.off:EMERGENCY]: The NVRAM battery discharge FET is off. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.
Nov 29 07:50:34 [Node:monitor.temp.unreadable:error]: The controller temperature (NVRAM M2 Temp) is not readable.
Nov 29 07:50:34 [Node:monitor.temp.unreadable:error]: The controller temperature (NVRAM FPGA Temp) is not readable.
Nov 29 07:50:56 [Node:monitor.chassisTemperature.state.unknown:ALERT]: Chassis temperature state is unknown: BBU/NVRAM temp sensors are unreadable. System will be shutdown in 2 minutes.
