Issue

  • Error seen when attempting to add Cisco Nexus N9K-C9336C-FX2 switch:
    Error: "N9K-C9336C-FX2" is an invalid value for field "-model
    <NX5010|NX5020|CAT2960|OTHER|NX5596|CN1610|CN1601|NX3132|NX5548|NX3132V|O
           T9332|NX3132XL|NX3232C>"
           Valid choices in this command's context: NX5010, NX5020, CAT2960, OTHER,
           NX5596, CN1610, CN1601, NX3132, NX5548, NX3132V, OT9332, NX3132XL,
           NX3232C
  • CSHM reports Cisco switch N9K-C9336C-FX2 switch as "Unsupported Model":

Possible Effect:Communication problems and network connectivity issues occur.

  • Due to this issue, the switch may be reported as missing.
