CIFS shares not mounting and not visible in System Manager

Issue

  • When attempting to map a CIFS share from a Linux system, receives a "Unable to find suitable address" error.
    • linux:/home/admin # mount -t cifs -o username='user@domain.net',password='Password',vers=3.0,mfsymlinks //cifsserver/share /mnt/cifs

  • This can occur on one or more shares on a vserver
  • When looking at the share(s) via CLI or System Manager, the share is not present.
