Event Summary

This message occurs when the system detects a RAID checksum error involving multiple disk drives.

  • ONTAP includes checksums at the RAID level to protect all blocks on disk.
  • During a disk read, the data will be verified against the checksum to ensure data integrity.
  • If the checksum does not match, a checksum error is logged.

Validate

Event Log

Resolution

Log in to the Support site to verify if a case was open for this event. Check case status
