Breakout port1 doesn’t coming online after RCF update

  • Cisco Nexus 3132Q-V cluster switches with NX-OS 7.0(3)I7(9).
  • NetApp FAS8200 cluster port e0a/e0b
  • ONTAP 9.11.1P15
  • Upgrading  breakout RCF file from v1.1 to v1.13

Issue

  • After upgrading  RCF file (X3132Q-V-RCF-v1.13-1-Cluster-HA-Breakout.txt) from v1.1 to v1.13, the breakout ports 1/1/1-1/1/4 do not come online.

  • The issue is reproducible on other switches.
  • No hardware errors are reported.
  • hardware profile front port mode sfp-plus is executed and switch rebooted but port1 doesn’t up.
  • Breakout port 3 (1/3/1-1/3/4) is linked up and can be used without any problems.
