Issue

  • EMS reports multi fans failed.
Sat Mar 25 19:00:25 CST [node A:monitor.chassisFan.removed:ALERT]: Chassis fan IOFan2 is removed
Sat Mar 25 19:00:55 CST [node A:callhome.c.fan.fru.rm:error]: Call home for CHASSIS FAN FRU REMOVED: IOFan2
Sat Mar 25 19:00:55 CST [node A:monitor.chassisFanFail.xMinShutdown:EMERGENCY]: Multiple Chassis Fan failure: System will shut down in 2 minutes.
Sat Mar 25 19:01:00 CST [node A:monitor.globalStatus.critical:CRITICAL]: Multiple fans failed: IOFan2 F1, IOFan2 F2.
  • Rebooting SP and power cycle, the issue is not fixed.
  • Replacing the effected fan and motherboard, the issue is not fixed.
