Issue

  • BlueXP timeline reports the "Purge Cloud Snaphots" job failing with error below:
Error:You don't have permission to perform this action. For more information please refer to the OnCommand Cloud Manager policies documentation at https://mysupport.netapp.com/site/info/cloud-manager-policies
  • Error below is seen in BlueXP server.log:
2022-05-28 10:21:30,501 UTC ERROR [Purge Cloud Snapshots ] [cMC3aSRo] [ ] [System ] (simplicator-akka.actor.default-dispatcher-41766) [SimplicatorServerActor:264] Simplicator request to http://localhost:8080/AzureProtocol/...e=rootxCNSGCfF failed: The client 'xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx' with object id 'xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx' does not have authorization to perform action 'Microsoft.Compute/snapshots/delete' over scope '/subscriptions/xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx/resourceGroups/RG-NAME-XXX/providers/Microsoft.Compute/snapshots/rootxCNSGCfF' or the scope is invalid.
