Issue

  • After a motherboard replacement on the controller, the giveback operation was vetoed as the FabricPool was unreachable:
[object.store.unavailable:EMERGENCY]: Unable to connect to the object store "FP-s3-local" from node 58a84a4c-bdda-11ed-ac84-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Reason: Inter-cluster LIF not configured.
[cf_giveback: sfo.sendhome.subsystemAbort:alert]: The giveback operation of 'node01' was aborted by 'fabric pools'.
  • Additionally,  the network interface status showed intercluster LIFs down on the affected node:
Cluster1::> network interface show -role intercluster
