AFF A300 FC Ports don't come up after reseat

Issue

  • After reseating the node, Fibre Channel ports are not coming up properly per EMS logs:

[Node-01: isp2400_asyncd_0: fci.adapter.link.online:info]: Fibre Channel adapter 0 link online.
[Node-01: isp2400_intrd: fci.nserr.noDevices:error]: The Fibre Channel fabric attached to adapter 0 reports the presence of no Fibre Channel devices

  • FC adapter not showing proper port, different firmware rev than before the reseat, and switch info not appearing:

Before:

  • In the console logs while booting, we see the following:

BIOS POST Failure(s) detected: PCIe device missing error detected. Abort AUTOBOOT
