"cf.disk.skipped" Message Appears After Disk Sanitization in ONTAP

Issue

  • After performing disk sanitization on all disks in a node, the following message is observed on the partner node:

Mar 04 11:36:08 [node_name:cf.disk.skipped:notice]: The disk ?.? was skipped because it reported the status disk does not exist.

  • The disk show -n command on both nodes reports all sanitized disks as Not Owned.
  • No change in disk count or disk information before and after sanitization.
