CONTAP-90109: In mixed version cluster with nodes running on 9.8 & 9.10, 9.10 node goes Out of Quorum when unjoin and rejoin the Cluster

Issue

  • This issue is observed on Clustered DATA ONTAP having one or more nodes running DATA ONTAP version 9.8 or 9.9.1 with one or more nodes running ONTAP version 9.10 or above.
  • When a node running ONTAP version 9.10 or above is unjoined and then rejoined to the same Cluster, this node may go Out of Quorum.
  • This issue occurs due to a technical issue in node join operation.
