Issue

Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) 18.5 for NetApp AFF A1K, AFF A90, AFF A70, AFF C80, AFX 1K, ASA A1K, ASA A90, ASA A70, FAS90 and FAS70 systems includes the following bug fixes and enhancements that improve reliability and security:

  • CFBMC-4617 - BMC firmware signed with updated security keys and certificates
  • CFBMC-6662 - BMC system console disconnects after inactivity when timeout is set beyond 255 minutes
  • CFBMC-6741 - "monitor.ioCard.degraded" event is seen in certain systems when 10/25GbE optical transceivers are used
  • CFBMC-6776 - BMC SMTP AutoSupport feature is no longer supported
  • CFBMC-6970 - No dynamic IPv6 address on public network interface of BMC
