Issue

After BMC firmware update, the BMC version displays an update progress of 0% (instead of 100% or blank), despite the service processor being correctly updated and displaying an "End Time" time stamp for command "system service-processor image update-progress show:
Cluster-01::> system service-processor image update-progress show
                 In                           Percent
Node             Progress Start Time          Done    End Time
---------------- -------- ------------------- ------- -------------------
Cluster-01-01  no       11/30/2024 21:35:31 0       11/30/2024 21:41:38
Cluster-01-02  no       11/30/2024 21:36:26 0       11/30/2024 21:42:34
Cluster-01-07  no       2/17/2025 10:05:03  100     2/17/2025 10:11:39
Cluster-01-08  no       2/17/2025 10:18:15  0       2/17/2025 10:26:21
4 entries were displayed. * Firmware update has completed successfully

  • Firmware version displays correctly in node level (sysconfig-a), cluster level (system service-processor show, system service-processor image show) and BMC level (bmc status)
  • The issue is not necessarily observed in every node of the cluster
