Issue

  • When a PCI switch non-maskable interrup (NMI) disruption occurs on a AFF A900, ASA 900 or FAS9500 system, the message does not specify the actual physical component location of the PCI switch chip.
  • This feature request asks for improvements in the NMI disruption message
  • An example of the message follows:
PANIC: NMI due to switch heart beat loss (0x4) in process idle: cpu24 on release 9.15.1P3 (C) on Sun Jan 12 02:41:26 PST 2025
