Baseboard management controller (BMC) 16.6 for NetApp AFF A900, ASA A900 and FAS9500 systems
includes the following bug fixes and enhancements that improve reliability and security:

  • Upgrade OpenSSH to 9.8p1
  • Upgrade OpenSSL to 3.0.14
  • Enable support for configurable SSH host key algorithms
  • Enable support for configurable SSH public key algorithms
  • Bug 1603286 - When BMC is configured with IPv6 address only, ONTAP communication with partner BMC might not work
  • CFBMC-4617 - BMC firmware 16.6 can be updated from any older BMC version
