CONTAP-328784: Ethernet switch log collection fails for multiple clusters using the same user

Issue

  • After setting up Ethernet switch log collection using system switch ethernet log setup on an additional cluster for the same switch, the errors below are seen:

Switch1# show logging last 5
 Switch1 %AUTHPRIV-3-SYSTEM_MSG: pam_aaa:Authentication failed from  X.X.X.X - dcos_sshd[4112]
 Switch1 %DAEMON-3-SYSTEM_MSG: error: PAM: Authentication failure for XXXXXX from X.X.X.X- dcos_sshd[4110]
 Switch1 %AUTHPRIV-3-SYSTEM_MSG: pam_aaa:Authentication failed from  X.X.X.X- dcos_sshd[4113]
 Switch1 %DAEMON-3-SYSTEM_MSG: error: PAM: Authentication failure for XXXXXX from  X.X.X.X - dcos_sshd[4110]
 Switch1 %DAEMON-3-SYSTEM_MSG: error: maximum authentication attempts exceeded for XXXXXX from  X.X.X.X port 20901 ssh2 [preauth] - dcos_sshd[4110]
