Issue

In an AWS FSx for ONTAP HA pair, when a node becomes unresponsive and its partner takes over, the surviving node may continue to report the partner as up. This can cause REST calls to wait for a timeout and may result in failed AWS Control Plane health checks. The takeover can still complete successfully.
The reported panic message was: {}watchdog nmi on cpu 0, hang cpu is 0 in SK process wafl_exempt01{}.
