CHW-3903: Node shuts down after twenty minutes following a battery learning cycle

Issue

  • Platform matches one of the models in the Applies To section
  • NVRAM battery learning cycle completes running on the node
  • "Bat Pct Capacity" sensor reading drops below 39% and reads critlow
  • For AutoSupport enabled systems the following is sent:
    • BATTERY (full charge capacity low)
  • EMS log for impaired node reports the following:
    • [cluster1-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.fccLowCrit:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery full-charge capacity is critically low (38 ). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.
    • [cluster1-01: env_mgr: monitor.shutdown.emergency:EMERGENCY]: Emergency shutdown: Environmental Reason Shutdown (Battery PCT capacity critical)
  • EMS log for partner node reports the following:
    • [cluster1-02: cf_main: cf.fsm.takeover.on.halt:info]: Failover monitor: Node initiated automatic takeover after detecting that its partner node has halted.
  • Node is halted following the twenty minute period and is taken over
