Issue

  • A node that is one of the platforms listed in the Applies To Section
  • The node stops responding and partner takes over
  • BMC event logs show a watchdog NMI:

Watchdog 2 #0xb1 | Timer interrupt (NMI/SMS/OS) | Asserted
Critical Interrupt #0xb0 | NMI/Diag Interrupt | Asserted
Watchdog 2 #0xb1 | Hard reset (SMS/OS) | Asserted
  • BMC console logs show DIMM errors on boot:

DIMM missing in slot DIMM-2
DIMM missing in slot DIMM-4
System DIMM configuration is not supported by AFF-A400
