CHW-1461: Frequent "wrong charge", "no charge", and "current high" battery events with pending system shutdown

Issue

  • FAS8300, FAS8700 or AFF A400 systems might report one of the following battery events:
    • wrong charge
    • no charge
    • current high
  • These events might cause a 20-minute or 24-hour shutdown timer to be started with messages such as:
    • [node_name: env_mgr: monitor.shutdown.emergency:EMERGENCY]: Emergency shutdown: Environmental Reason Shutdown (Battery charging current failed)
  • Example AutoSupport messages:
    • BATTERY (no charge) CRITICAL
    • BATTERY (current high) CRITICAL
    • BATTERY (capacity low)
    • BATTERY (bad charger)
