Issue

  • On A800 or platforms that LOADER image is held on the boot device, system may reboot and be stuck at the APTIO menu screen:
  • No LOADER> prompt or ONTAP boot when pressing ESC (the node comes back to this menu) In some ocasions, the following error messages can be found:
    ERROR: [D9] Boot option loading failed
    Error reading from serial device
    ERROR: ATA device failure
