  • NS224 shelf using NSM100 shows Voltage Sensors 2 and 4 marked critical after a shelf firmware upgrade from 0306 to 0406.
  • This occurred after an ONTAP upgrade from 9.15.1P14 to 9.17.1P10, but error only triggered once both modules were on the NSM firmware 0406.
  • ONTAP voltage thresholds do not show any changes on newer firmware.
  • Shelf voltage sensors on firmware 0306:

    Shelf voltages by element:
[1] 12.02 Volts Normal voltage range
[2] 142.09 VAC Normal voltage range
[3] 12.02 Volts Normal voltage range
[4] 143.02 VAC Normal voltage range
    Voltage thresholds by element:
[1] High critical: Unavailable; High warning: Unavailable
Low critical: Unavailable; Low warning: Unavailable
    [2] High critical: 255 (127.5%); High warning: 255 (127.5%)
         Low critical: 36 (18.0%); Low warning: 29 (14.5%)
[3] High critical: Unavailable; High warning: Unavailable
Low critical: Unavailable; Low warning: Unavailable
    [4] High critical: 255 (127.5%); High warning: 255 (127.5%)
         Low critical: 36 (18.0%); Low warning: 29 (14.5%)

  • Shelf voltage sensors on firmware 0406 and higher:

    Shelf voltages by element:
[1] 12.02 Volts Normal voltage range
    [2] 142.09 VAC Overvoltage failure! <<<<<
[3] 12.02 Volts Normal voltage range

    Voltage thresholds by element:
[1] High critical: Unavailable; High warning: Unavailable
Low critical: Unavailable; Low warning: Unavailable
    [2] High critical: 255 (127.5%); High warning: 255 (127.5%)
        Low critical: 36 (18.0%); Low warning: 29 (14.5%)
[3] High critical: Unavailable; High warning: Unavailable
Low critical: Unavailable; Low warning: Unavailable
    [4] High critical: 255 (127.5%); High warning: 255 (127.5%)
