  • After systems update to BMC version 16.8, nodes report intermittent self-recovering "nvram.battery.voltage.low" and "nvram.battery.current.low" events.
  • The following is an example of the events:

Sun Mar 15 16:08:33 +0200 [node1: env_mgr: nvram.battery.voltage.low:EMERGENCY]: The NVRAM battery voltage is critically low (2950 mV). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 5 minutes.
Sun Mar 15 16:08:33 +0200 [node1:: env_mgr: nvram.battery.current.low:EMERGENCY]: The NVRAM battery has a short circuit (-4750 mA). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 5 minutes.
Sun Mar 15 16:09:04 +0200 [node1:: env_mgr: nvram.battery.voltage.normal:info]: The NVRAM battery voltage is normal.
Sun Mar 15 16:09:04 +0200 [node1:: env_mgr: nvram.battery.current.normal:info]: The NVRAM battery current is normal.
