CFBMC-7408: On some systems, the BMC IP address might temporarily show 0.0.0.0 after a BMC firmware update

Issue

  • After updating to BMC firmware versions 18.5 or 19.3 on some systems, the BMC IP address might temporarily display as "0.0.0.0" when running the "system service-processor show" command.
  • After 5-10 minutes, the previously configured IP address is displayed
  • The following is an example of the output:

cluster::> system service-processor show
                               IP           Firmware
Node          Type Status      Configured   Version   IP Address
------------- ---- ----------- ------------ --------- -------------------------
cluster-01    BMC  online      true         19.3      0.0.0.0, ::
cluster-02    BMC  online      true         19.3      0.0.0.0, ::
