Issue

  • This enhancement is designed to proactively address rare but critical scenarios where hardware component failures can lead to repeated data read timeouts over the CAN Bus – potentially impacting system stability.
  • The primary objective of this enhancement is to enable the BMC to automatically recover when it detects multiple consecutive data read timeouts, specifically in the context of hardware failures (e.g. fan failures).
  • Affected platform models: AFF A900, ASA A900, FAS9500
