CFBIOS-179: Superfluous POST messages for CPUID (0x000000) and CPU1 appear on the system console of some AFF, ASA and FAS systems

Issue

  • During boot of AFF A150, AFF A200, AFF A220, AFF A300, AFF C190, ASA A150, FAS2620, FAS2650, FAS2720, FAS2750 and FAS8200 storage systems, superfluous POST messages for CPUID (0x000000) and CPU1 appear on the system console port
  • This issue occurs with BIOS 11.1 and later
  • The following is an example of system console output:
