ClusterIfIslDownWarn_Alert post ONTAP 9.11.1P5+ upgrade due to unused ISL ports

Issue

  • CSHM reports ISL down alerts for unused, but enabled ISL ports in the event logs:

[Node-01: cshmd: hm.alert.raised:alert]: Alert Id = ClusterIfIslDownWarn_Alert , Alerting Resource = Switch1/Slot: 0 Port: 15 25G - Level raised by monitor ethernet-switch

  • The following ASUP alert is triggered:

HA Group Notification (Health Monitor process cshm: ClusterIfIslDownWarn_Alert[Switch1/Slot: 0 Port: 15 25G - Level]) ALERT

  • System health and switch health are reported as degraded because of the alert:
