- Self-signed certificate
Answer
It is expected that the browser displays the following warnings for the HTTPS certificate until a Certificate of Authority (CA) signed certificate is installed within ONTAP.
- Not Secure
- Certificate is not valid
This is explained in the documentation Use System Manager to access a cluster as well.
Note: Browsers will report self-signed certificates as Not Secure. This is not specific to Ontap or System Manager.
