ONTAP System Manager displays 'LDAP Not configured' in new UI

  • ONTAP System Manager 9.7
  • ONTAP System Manager 9.6

Issue

  • LDAP Authentication is working just fine as domain users are able to log into System Manager
  • Within the System Manager > Settings page, the LDAP status shows Not configured

  • Before the ONTAP upgrade, Classic System Manager displayed the LDAP configuration
  • Open an ssh session to the Cluster and execute ldap show to confirm that the ldap table is empty  :
    • cluster1::> ldap show
      This table is currently empty.
